Drawing I

In this class I learned different elements and ways to approach art. Different ways of griding, straight lines, and gesture drawing. We also tried a version of negative drawing with charcoal. Then finally we finished the semester the way we started, with portraits.
The straight lines art mixed with the gesture drawings help me be able to quickly and accurately find the proper proportions of both objects and people.
This class taught me how to analyze quickly, but create by taking my time, I used to rush through art, now I appreciate the process.
